This Saturday, I went to Riet Vell for a ringuing, (for interested people, each Saturday there's a ringuing).The ringuer was Alberto, he is very good, he let me pull out birds from the nets and to ring them. The volunteers in Riet Vell are super cool all of them are very kind and from diferent nacionalities and Alberto's gilfriend is a natural horse tamer and she was training one on the horses on Riet and I helped her for 1 hour it was very cool! Focusing on the ringuing, we didn't ring a lot of species nor any special bird, we ringued:

-Kingfisher (Alcedo Attis)
-Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus Scirpaceus)
-Great Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus Arundinaceus)
-Chiff-Chaff (Phylloscopus Collybita)
-Barn Swallow (Hirundo Rustica)

In the afternoon a friend of mine came to see the ringuing (Ferran).
Well all last Saturday was a great day and I learned a lot about ringuing, horses, birds in general...
Last Saturday was a greate day! I hope to repeat it next Saturday!

Pacific Golden Plover (Pluvialis Fulva)

For the last two days, there's a Pacific Golden Plover in the Ebro Delta (Spain) this bird, is the 10th time that it has been seen in Spain. This two days, i went to see it, it's a fantastic bird to see, I had never seen it obviously, but there's a Buff-breasted Sandpiper (Tryngites Subruficollis) this wasn't my first time that I see this bird  it was the second time, but this bird I think that this bird is more beautiful than the Pacific Golden Plover. Here there are some photos of this birds (sorry about the quality but this are through a telescope). And I put a picture of the Pacific Golden Plover in the guide for you to recognise it (it's the second one in the page). If you want to see shorebirds in tge Ebro Delta you can go where I went, Dacsa, ara grass fields near the "Alfacada".

Ringuing With Pere Josa in 12/11/2011

Hi again! Today I'm back to publish a post of a ringuing in 12/11/2011. It was a ringuing with Pere Josa in Riet Vell. I was in there with my friend Ferran Colomé, it was an interesting day, I didn't do any bimbo, but some new species for my ringuing list, like the Sylvia Melanocephala. We ringued:

Typical Saturday output with my father...

Hi again! Sorry for no publish since 23th July, well, I've got a lot of things to publish and I'll start with this one:
Last Saturday I went with my father into some lagoons, that we saw. Well, we couldn't get in there, but, we went next to the lagoons, we saw som Night herons (Nycticorax Nycticorax), Commoon Sanpiper (Actitis hypoleucos), Squaco Heron (Ardeola Ralloides). Those were the most interesting birds, other type of birds were for example: Wishkered Tern (Calidonias Hybridus), oh! Yes, and a Kingfisher (Alcedo Atthís) so it pass away flying. And a  Common Stilit (Himantopus Himantopus). Well some photos and comment this please!  PD: Jejejeje, there were also millions of mosquitos!!!!!

Last monday...

I went with my mum to look for some beauty houses near the mountait, well, in one moment I listened a group of Bee Eaters, well we pass with the car near they. Then, I listened the same song and there were the same group of Bee Eaters, but this time really near, and I have got some really nice pictures for my age I think, That experience was so good! Ok, make a comment for what do you think about this photos. Please!

Ringing in Riet Vell with Cristian Jensen

Last Saturday, I went to a ringing in riet vell, I took a friend (Joan Pere), he was really excited. Cristian pass to take us in my house. When we arrive, we put the nets and when we were puting its, a Reed Warlber fall in the nets! Then we took it and we left, after (one hour) we go to the nets, there were some reed warbler and some great reed warblers. We ringed its and then we went to the nets again, there were two tree sparrow, and the other birds were great reed warblers and reed warblers. Then, after ring it, we left to the nets and there was a surprise, there was a common starling. He puts to scream and we couldn't stop him. All the Other thing were great reed warblers and reed warblers.

Two House Sparrows...

When I arrived with my car to my house, there were two house sparrows the male put on the famele and move his wings, what were they doing, mmm? Well they need a litle of intimity and my mum enter the car to my house.

Cool Ficedula Hypoleuca ot my garden

Last day I was helping my mother with the plants and I saw a litle black and white bird and I was looking his/her moviments, and it was an Ficedula Hypoleuca, that was so cool see it moviments fling to one and the other tree, and singing. Well I haven't any photos, because the cam was into the house.

Ringig with Pere Josa at "Riet Vell"

Hi everybody, the 23th April 2011, I went to ring birds in Riet Vell, and that was an espectacular day, the previous day, had been raining, and it was windy. Thats the perfect day for watch/ring birds. After this day i tried to convince my parents, for they leave me go the Sunday, and i did it (studing). The Sunday, at the first time, that was good, there were some birds but then it started to make wind, and then to rain. There was practicaly nothing  at the nets.
